The second day of INNOPROM-2025 international industrial exhibition was marked by an important visit of the delegation of representatives from oil and gas industry of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia headed by His Excellency, the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources and the Chief Executive Officer of MODON, the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technological Zones. The high-ranking guests visited the joint stand of Perm Krai paying special attention to the exhibit of INGC LLC.
* This year, the main strategic session is “Technological Leadership: Industrial Breakthrough”. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has become a partner state of the exhibition.
During the visit organized with support from the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Perm Krai and Perm City Government, the foreign specialists have taken a close look at the innovative solutions of INGC, discussed technical characteristics of the products presented and the opportunities for potential cooperation on the projects involving manufacture of gas pumping, compressor and power equipment.
The delegation was particularly interested in the modern line of power equipment manufactured by INGC, namely: “Irtysh” Gas Turbine Power Plant (GTEA-2000) based on AA-2000 gas turbine engine. Representatives from the Saudi Arabian oil and gas sector noted a high technological level of the development and its compliance with the international standards.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed mutual interest in development of further cooperation which opens up new horizons for the Perm manufacturers to enter the international market.
The Saudi Arabian delegation includes more than 200 persons. They will take part in the business agenda and visit two leading enterprises of the Sverdlovsk Region. In recent years, Saudi Arabia has been seeking for diversification of its economy to reduce its dependence on the fuel and energy industry and it has been developing metallurgic industry, bauxite, copper and gold mining. Thus, the Russian machine builders are opening the potential for cooperation with the Kingdom. The Saudi Arabian business people are open to joint projects including the investment ones and they are inviting local businesses to their territory to invest in the Kingdom’s economy, particularly in the project of “Neom” City of Tomorrow which is also discussed in the Urals.
This year, more than 1,000 companies are exhibiting at INNOPROM. There are collective stands from 33 constituent entities of the Russian Federation and five national exhibits from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Saudi Arabia and Uzbekistan. Besides, the event is hosting official delegations from 88 regions of Russia as well as from China, CIS countries, Middle East, Southeast Asia and Africa.
